Quality Engineer

Job Descriptions
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and manage quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement effective quality control plans, conduct inspections, and collaborate with production teams to address quality issues in real-time.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials, conduct supplier audits, and address quality concerns.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to drive a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Training: Provide training to employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience related to Quality Assurance is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and process improvement tools (Six Sigma, Lean, CMM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficient in using quality management software/tools.
